The are several steps involved in developing a quality slideshow production.
First, we will identify the purpose and overall tone you wish for your Slideshow. This will include your musical preferences, pictures to include, specific text and captions, and additional elements you would like to include that may not necessarily be part of our standard presentations. We are also interested in the general "emotion" you are hoping for. We hope to accomplish this interpretation primarily with email, and perhaps a phone call. Address information.
Next, you will need to send us your photos, music and other necessary materials. Shipping information. If you photos are digital then you may send them to us via the Internet or mail them to us on a CD. If your pictures are in slide, print or negative format we are prepared to convert them to a digital fromat. Scanning fees. It is important that your photos be numbered in the order you want them to appear in the presentation.
You will also mail your check or money order, or make PayPal payment at this time. Slideshow pricing.
The third step in the process is the actual creation of your slide show. We may contact you as specific questions arise.
Finally, we will carefully pack and mail you your Edisons' Photo Fix & Sho slideshow CD or DVD, together with the materials you have provided for us (photos, music, video, etc). This material will be fully insured. Please note that Edisons' Photo Fix & Sho will assume no liability for any damage or loss that occurs in shipping.
The total process should take about 3 weeks to complete.
Generally, a typical slideshow will be 6 to 12 minutes long and include from 30 to 75 pictures. Although longer presentations are better suited for more in-depth projects. The presentation can also be lengthened or shortened, by increasing or decreasing the duration of each slide and transitions between slides. The software we employ provides us with about 300 variable-time transitions.
Upon completion we will transfer your slide show to DVD. This will allow you to show your presentation on any TV through a DVD player, as well as on most modern computers. We will also include a digital file of each slide .
A slide show may include music. If you have music you would like to include, we recommend you send your music selections to us either via mail or email. This way we can avoid possible copyright hassles. Your music must come to us on your CD or in MP-3 format. We can also select very appropriate music for you from our library, or, if necessary, purchase a specific file if we have nothing appropriate for the situation.
